The four most basic ingredients of this meal are lettuce, tofu or chicken if you are a meat-eater, the spicy sauce and brown rice noodles. The sauce is made from a half cup of peanut butter, a third cup of soy sauce, a third cup of sesame oil, a fourth cup of rice vinegar, two tablespoons of chili pasta, two tablespoons of sugar, fresh ginger and fresh garlic. The wraps need tofu, brown rice noodles, lettuce leaves and peanuts, cilantro and lime for garnishing and flavoring. This meal will only take fifteen minutes of prep time and twenty minutes of cook time, so it is also a very quick meal to eat at home.

  • Blend all the ingredients for the sauce together.
  • Cut the tofu or chicken into cubes.
  • Cook the protein by sautéing it for fifteen minutes over oil.
  • Add half of the sauce and cook for 3-5 minutes.
  • Move the mixture to a bowl.
  • Drain the noodles and move them to the pan with more oil. Add the rest of the sauce and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Remove from heat and toss everything together.
  • Fill the lettuce leaves with everything and top with the garnishes aforementioned.
